Dedicated to advancing global education and fostering opportunities for students across cultures, Dr. Dhruba Paudel has built a distinguished career as a physician, educator, and international program director. His journey began in Nepal, where he completed his early studies before pursuing advanced medical education in China. After mastering the Chinese language, he earned his MBBS from Zhengzhou University in 2004, followed by a Master’s in Obstetrics and Gynecology from Xiangya School of Medicine, Central South University, and later, a Ph.D. in the same field from Tongji University in Shanghai. Along the way, he completed extensive internship training at renowned hospitals in Kathmandu, gaining valuable clinical experience that continues to inform his work.

Passionate about making medical education accessible worldwide, Dr. Paudel has been instrumental in founding and expanding international programs across multiple universities in China since 2004. His leadership has helped institutions like Xiamen University, Harbin Medical University, Guizhou Medical University, Jinggangshan University, and Shandong First Medical University welcome and support international students. He has also been a driving force in creating double degree and exchange programs, helping universities gain recognition abroad, and fostering partnerships across borders. Beyond medicine, he played a key role in establishing the International Engineering Program at Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics and co-founded Chitwan Medical College in Nepal.

In addition to his academic and administrative contributions, Dr. Paudel has held leadership roles as Chairman of Times Education and Business Associates and Paudel Education and Management Group. His research work—published in respected journals—has contributed to understanding cancers of the female reproductive system, earning him recognition for his scientific contributions. His many honors include national and university-level awards in China, full academic scholarships, and distinctions such as the Excellent Foreign Expert Award.

Today, as the General Manager of the Port Gibson Learning Center, Dr. Paudel brings the same vision and dedication to a new context—supporting learners through innovative educational practices that blend global perspectives with community-based learning. At the center, he oversees curriculum design, faculty development, and student engagement, ensuring that each learner has the tools, guidance, and inspiration to succeed. Fluent in Nepali, Hindi, Urdu, Chinese, and English, he continues to serve as a bridge across cultures, committed to helping students not only excel academically but also grow into confident, globally minded individuals.
