Jojo Mozzo

General Manager I Dois Corregos

Serving students with innovative educational practices that follow global standards—while fostering close ties within a community of learners in a dynamic and joyful way—has always been Jojo’s mission as an educator and specialist in Educational Psychology.

A native of Dois Córregos, SP, Jojo began her educational journey in 1994 with a technical degree in Teaching. Her career started in Jundiaí as an early childhood teacher, and her passion for education led her to pursue numerous professional development courses. She lived in São Paulo and Joinville before moving to England in 2002, where she spent ten years studying Psychology with a focus on Educational Psychology at Morley College. During this time, she also trained with Yoga Tools for Schools and became a certified instructor of Yoga for young children.

After returning to Brazil in 2011, Jojo earned her degree in Pedagogy from UNOPAR and worked as a pedagogical coordinator at Bilingual Uni School in Joinville. In 2018, she returned to her hometown for a sabbatical year. What began as small study groups for her daughter Antonella and her niece soon grew into a larger educational project. Classes took place in her dining room, kitchen, and backyard, creating a warm and family-like environment. She drew on the same teaching resources she had used while living in England, adapting them for different age groups and learning levels, and always with a holistic, interdisciplinary approach that respected Brazil’s National Common Curricular Base (BNCC).

Over the years, Jojo’s work has continued to evolve. Today, she serves as the General Manager of the Dois Córregos Learning Center, an afterschool program designed to support children’s academic development and personal growth. At the center, students build essential skills, strengthen what they learn in school, and explore new areas of knowledge through engaging and creative activities. Jojo oversees curriculum design, teacher development, and community engagement, ensuring that every child feels welcomed, supported, and inspired to learn. Her vision is not only to help students thrive academically but also to create a space where families and children feel connected, motivated, and empowered to grow.
